The Great Commission

The Great Commission
After His death on the cross, Jesus Christ was buried and He rose again on the third day.  Before ascending to heaven,  He appeared to His disciples in Galilee and left His final instructions, known as the Great Commission:

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB)

The Lord instructed us to go to all nations, assuring us He will be with us until the very end of the age.  Christians of all generations embrace this command, and many say that “it’s not the Great Suggestion.”  The Lord commanded us to put our faith into action.
